California Proposition 65

Effective August 31, 2018, the State of California requires customer notification of products manufactured after August 31, 2018 which contain substances listed in the Proposition 65 (Prop 65) substance list, in amounts exceeding Significant Risk Levels/ Dosage levels, which are known in the state of California to cause cancer, or birth defects, or reproductive harm. This requirement applies to consumer products sold in California, or products which may be exposed to people in the State of California.

To the best of our knowledge as an authorized distributor, components do not contain the above referenced substances in levels above the Safe Harbor levels, which include No Significant Risk Levels (NSRLs) for cancer-causing chemicals and Maximum Allowable Dose Levels (MADLs) for chemicals causing reproductive toxicity.

Electronic components, electronic products, or production supplies in general may include some level of substances identified by Prop 65.

Galco Industrial Electronics does not have detailed chemical content information. Galco will pass on manufacturer prop 65 product warnings as attached to manufacturer products. Please contact the manufacturer for specific information regarding the content of any substances that are identified by California Prop 65.

As a distributor, we do not design, manufacture, or control the content of any of the products that we sell. Therefore, we rely upon our manufacturer partners to advise us with the Prop 65 compliance status of products we distribute.

Please note: Because Galco does not control the material content of the products we sell, we are unable to complete web surveys, spreadsheets, and/or sign off on customer or supplier letters or documents related to Prop 65 due to related liability issues.
