Extechs MN series digital multimeters are designed to measure electrical quantities. An Extech Multimeter can measure alternating and direct current potential differences (voltages), current, and resistance, with several full-scale ranges provided for each quantity. These meters have a 600 VAC/VDC range, and current readings for up to 10 Amps. Extechs lines of Multimeters are available with auto and manual ranging options. Extechs DMM displays the measurement on a numeric LCD display. These meters are typically used for computers, control equipment, electronic/electrical troubleshooting, or HVAC.

Phase sequence testing is a crucial step in connecting a three-phase load to an electrical system. For example, improper connection of three-phase motors may lead to reverse rotation, resulting in damage to equipment powered by the motor. Extech testers can be used to assure proper and safe connection of electrical equipment on three-phase systems.
