Gauges feature a corrosion resistant 300 series stainless steel case and ring, and durable polycarbonate window. A phosphor bronze Bourdon tube, brass movement, and socket connections are standard. The lower mount (LM) Model 1555 comes in 2" and 2-1/2" versions with a 1/4-18 NPT connection. The model 1559 is a center back mount (CBM) gauge that comes in a 1-1/2" design with a 1/8-27 NPT connection or the 2" and 2-1/2" designs with a 1/4-18 NPT connection. The Model 1558 is a 2-1/2" center back mount (CBM) gauge with a front flange for panel mounting.

AMETEK U.S. Gauge offers a wide variety of welding and compressed gas gauges used on various types of regulators. The high pressure gauges are used for measuring cylinder or tank pressure. The low pressure gauges are used on the downstream side of the regulator to indicate regulated, reduced pressure. The low pressure gauges (15-1000 psi) are UL 252A recognized. High pressure gauges (1500-5000 psi) are UL 404 listed. Cleanliness for all gauges is in accordance with Level IV of ASME B40.100-2005. U.S. Gauge compressed gas gauges are available in 1-1/2", 50mm, 2", and 2-1/2" sizes with polished brass or gold painted steel standard.
V534 Series Image
U.S. Gauge V534 Canners Gauge is used for testing vacuum of packaged products such as canned food or drink. This gauge is easy to use for destructive sampling tests. Force the stainless-steel needle through the top of the container while you read the gauge. The rubber gasket prevents air from entering the container during the test. The 1" graduations in Hg are easy to read within the 2" diameter case. Stainless steel needle can be cleaned for multiple uses but is non-removable. Private labeling is available for OEM applications
656 Liquid Fillable Series Image
  • Pressure Ranges up to 10,000 psi for the 63mm Size and 23,000 psi for 100mm
  • 304 Stainless Steel Case with Rubber Disc for Pressure Relief
  • 316L Stainless Steel Bourdon Tube
  • Front Flange, U-Clamp, or Stem Mounted
  • Accuracy: 1.6% on 63mm Model; 1.0% on 100mm Model
The 656 Series are suitable for corrosive environments in chemical, petrochemical, refining, power, marine, and food and pharmaceutical processing applications. Liquid filled pressure gauges provide users with a number of advantages in certain measurement applications. They are ideally suited for uses on equipment where excessive vibration and pulsation are encountered, such as pumps, compressors, machine tools, etc. The liquid fill minimizes the effect of these severe environments, protects the gauge internals, and provides continuous lubrication on the mechanism, all adding up to extended service life. Liquid filling also provides greater protection of the gauge internals from corrosive atmospheres. AMETEK liquid filled gauges can be used with a variety of fill fluids including glycerin, mineral oil, and silicone oil. These gauges are available in 63 and 100mm sizes.
1981 SOLFRUNT Quick Ship Series Image
  • Pressure Ranges from 30 Hg VAC to 11600 psi
  • Black PET Turret Case with Pressure-Relieving Back
  • Liquid Filled configurations
  • 316L Stainless Steel Bourdon Tube
The Model 1981 and 1981 Advantage 4-1/2" process gauges have all 316L stainless steel wetted surfaces with a seamless Bourdon tube. The 1981 Advantage includes a dampened movement option to provide users with some of the benefits of liquid filling. These gauges have a PET turret style case for chemical and petrochemical processing applications. The PET material gives this case superior impact strength and a broad spectrum of chemical resistance. They are available dry, with a dampened movement, or liquid filled from the factory. Your local stocking distributor can provide a liquid fill kit, or the E-Z Fill design to facilitate filling in the field without special tools. The Model 1981 and 1981 Advantage 4-1/2" SOLFRUNT gauges are supplied in 26 vacuum, compound, and pressure ranges from 30" Hg vacuum through 11600 psi. The low-connected PET turret case can be easily liquid filled in the field using the appropriate conversion kit. Span adjustments can be accomplished from rear of case without disturbing the gauge internals. Pointer adjustments are easily made by removing ring and window, and using the adjustment screw on the micro-adjustable pointer.
84 Panel Mount Series Image
  • Pressure Ranges from 30 Hg VAC to 3,000 psi
  • Case Sizes: 2.5, 3, 3.5

1929 SOLFRUNT Series Image
  • 4.5 Case Size
  • Black PET Turret Case with Pressure Relieving Back
  • 316L Stainless Steel Diaphragm
  • 1% Accuracy
  • NPT or NPT Stainless Steel Connection
Designed for pressure measurements as low as a few inches of water, these gauges in spans from 30" H2O to 10 psi utilize a unique sensing element. It is composed of a stack of diaphragm capsules, each consisting of two plates contoured into a convex/concave configuration to nest into one another. This results in a low internal volume element developing large forces to drive the mechanism in extremely low pressure ranges. The measuring element may be filled and attached to a Mansfield & Green diaphragm seal (Type L) to permit use of the gauge with corrosive or viscous fluids. Type ST diaphragm seals may also work on Model 1929. Please contact factory for further information. Calibration adjustments (scale shape and linearity) are made from rear of case without removing internals. The pointer is adjusted by removing the front ring and window.
