Process Control
Process controllers, or PID controllers, are electronic devices used to measure a process variable and make adjustments to keep that variable within a set range or at a desired setpoint. Controllers are used in industry to regulate temperature, pressure, force, flow rate and much more.

Process controllers use embedded software and a wide variety of functions to make precise adjustments using advanced feedback control. PIDs continuously take measurements from sensors and make adjustments to the final control element to maintain the desired setpoint. Alarms notify operators of any undesired measurements or results.

Most controllers also have a display, and can provide display parameters based on hardware configuration, masking irrelevant parameters if necessary. This way, operators only need to adjust the setpoint and alarm, then launch self-tune.

VZWD Series Image
Ideal for high pressures with low flow rates: the VZWD operates without differential pressure at up to 90 bar, even in closed media circuits. It is thus ideal for high-pressure and dosing applications. In contrast to force pilot operated or pilot actuated valves, it has no pilot ports..

The name of the new family member is the air/water valve VZWM, both technically and economically the ideal choice for the control of media. The VZWM operates with diaphragm technology and differential pressure. It has an armature tube for fitting a solenoid coil of your choice.

VZWF Series Image
Can be operated without differential pressure, e.g. can be used in closed media circuits. The force pilot operated valves from the VZWF series use relatively small solenoids to control high pressures with large nominal diameters. They can switch at pressures as low as 0 bar and close automatically via a normally closed function in the case of a pressure loss in the circuit.
The special feature of this type of actuation is the support by the pressure of the medium. This means that smaller coils can be used in comparison with direct operated valves as less power is required at the coil to open the valve. The energy of the pressure of the medium is also used for this purpose.
