Valves
A valve is a device that regulates the flow of a fluid by opening, closing or partially obstructing a passageway.

Modern control valves operate on sophisticated automation systems that are based on external input. The valve is used to regulate flow based previously determined set points or variables, for example. These types of valves require an actuator, which will position the valve accurately depending on its input and setup. Actuators can be electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic, depending on the application and its environment.

Valves are used in a wide variety of applications across many industries, including oil drilling controls, steel mills, chemical processing plants and refineries, HVAC systems, and more.

The Magnetic M3P valve uses a magnetic actuator to positively position with extremely high speed and accuracy. The combination of >1000:1 resolution and full range positioning in less than one second allows exceptional loop stability and reaction time. The M3 valve is designed for modulating control of chilled water and hot water, especially in HVAC systems. The valves are also configured for straight-through applications. The valves may be shipped with flanged fittings: 2BN is two-way with Companion Flange Kit, and 3BN is three-way with Companion Flange Kit. The valves are used in closed loop applications.
