Marsh Instruments Liquid-Filled Gauges are designed to perform in rugged applications and harsh environmental conditions - especially where pulsation and vibration are a problem. Liquid Filled Gauges offer a significant cushioning and dampening effect, reducing pointer flutter and internal gauge damage; also lubricating the internals, and reducing corrosion. All stainless steel Liquid Filled Gauges feature a ventable top fill plug for pressure relief and ease of venting after installation. Pressure ranges are available through 10,000 psi, with high pressure ranges offering a Helical Bourdon Tube for longer gauge life and increased durability. The hermetically sealed construction reduces the chance of leaks, and makes field filling an easy option. Typical applications include refineries, chemical plants, offshore platforms, oil rigs, marine applications, general industrial application and OEM processes.

U.S. Gauge Models 1555, 1558 and 1559 liquid filled utility gauges are designed for a wide range of rugged service applications on pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems, machine tools, and petrochemical processing equipment. Liquid fill fluid dampens the gauge pointer movement and improves readability, making these instruments ideal for high shock and vibration applications. Models 1555, 1558 and 1559 liquid filled gauges are available in psi and bar, kPa, and kg/cm2 metric ranges. Rated accuracy is 3-2-3% of span (Grade B). Gauges feature a corrosion resistant 300 series stainless steel case and ring, and durable polycarbonate window. A phosphor bronze Bourdon tube, brass movement, and socket connections are standard. The lower mount (LM) Model 1555 comes in 2" and 2-1/2" versions with a 1/4-18 NPT connection. The model 1559 is a center back mount (CBM) gauge that comes in a 1-1/2" design with a 1/8-27 NPT connection or the 2" and 2-1/2" designs with a 1/4-18 NPT connection. The Model 1558 is a 2-1/2" center back mount (CBM) gauge with a front flange for panel mounting.

AMETEK U.S. Gauge offers a wide variety of welding and compressed gas gauges used on various types of regulators. The high pressure gauges are used for measuring cylinder or tank pressure. The low pressure gauges are used on the downstream side of the regulator to indicate regulated, reduced pressure. The low pressure gauges (15-1000 psi) are UL 252A recognized. High pressure gauges (1500-5000 psi) are UL 404 listed. Cleanliness for all gauges is in accordance with Level IV of ASME B40.100-2005. U.S. Gauge compressed gas gauges are available in 1-1/2", 50mm, 2", and 2-1/2" sizes with polished brass or gold painted steel standard.

The 656 Series are suitable for corrosive environments in chemical, petrochemical, refining, power, marine, and food and pharmaceutical processing applications. Liquid filled pressure gauges provide users with a number of advantages in certain measurement applications. They are ideally suited for uses on equipment where excessive vibration and pulsation are encountered, such as pumps, compressors, machine tools, etc. The liquid fill minimizes the effect of these severe environments, protects the gauge internals, and provides continuous lubrication on the mechanism, all adding up to extended service life. Liquid filling also provides greater protection of the gauge internals from corrosive atmospheres. AMETEK liquid filled gauges can be used with a variety of fill fluids including glycerin, mineral oil, and silicone oil. These gauges are available in 63 and 100mm sizes.
